Metal Hammer have premiered Krysthla's music video for the opening track to their new album 'Peace In Our Time'.

Guitarist Neil Hudson says of the track: "The Minor Mystery Of Death is about embracing the end. Death is an absolute certainty and we're living lives that seem like they're going to last forever until it's too late and your mortality is thrust into your hands.

We're very precious towards our lives but don't actually live them.”

Peace In Our Time was influenced by Krysthla’s 2016 tour of the Balkans with Decapitated – with Hudson revealing that one experience on the road will live with him forever....

Sophomore album ‘No More Forgiveness’ released 5th May.

As seen previously on tour with HellYeah, live at Download Festival and Hammerfest.

"Mammoth grooves from a technically advanced future" Metal Hammer

“GraViL showcase confidence with fantastic, blistering songs” Terrorizer

“Brutalising Tech Metal Wizardry” Kerrang!

With fire and no fear on their side, 2017 sees GraViL rise from the big smoke with the release of their new album 'No More Forgiveness' on 5th May.

Before the album drops, the band pulls no punches with the introduction of lead track 'Decommissioned' (as featured on the latest Metal Hammer 'New Noise III' cd covermount (#293).

Frontman Grant Stacey isn't holding back with GraViL’s return to form, he said, "There is a massive sub-context of loss within the new album, with 2016 notably being a brutal year, however 'No More Forgiveness' pulls in a lot of strength from negativity that all too often engulfs our society and ways of life. It’s time to make a stand and do what’s right... and this is us, doing things right.”

GraViL’s new single ‘Decommissioned’ isn’t shy in coming forward, as Stacey notes, “It deals with betrayal on a huge scale. One of my favourite songs from the album, it’s really punchy and therapeutic, in a twisted kinda’ way!”

'No More Forgiveness' tracklisting:

1) Detonate

2) Are We Alive

3) I Am The Blood

4) Plagues, Thieves And Murderers

5) Locate The Traitor

Hot London alt.rockers Courtesans release their new EP 'Better Safe Than Sober' on 31st March. Get a sneak peak at the awesomely dark lead single 'Mesmerise' below.

“‘Mesmerise’ is about being entranced so deeply that you lose yourself and forget who you are,” they explain. “You want this. You believe you need this. It becomes your first thought in the morning and the last thought before you fall asleep. You lose your identity. The desire fills your dreams and finally becomes you."

“The new video is dark meeting light, it’s disturbing yet liberating. We want more women to pick up instruments. Be musicians, tour managers, sound engineers etc and say f**k it! Don’t leave it up to the boys, but do not dumb down your femininity to be respected, be yourself and be free! We want to not only encourage women in music but for more men to accept that it is ok to look up to female artists.”

"A definite British sound to their rock 'n' roll... all killer no filler that demands you sit up and pay attention" - Uber Rock

"A surefire success. Film Noir? This wants to be a Hollywood blockbuster" - Powerplay Magazine

"(Film Noir)... will make them stand out from the rest... Hellbound Hearts have made themselves contenders" - Stencil Magazine

Yorkshire, UK alternative rock band Hellbound Hearts have announced the release of their first full-length studio album ‘Film Noir’.

The new release is preceded by single/lyric video ‘Suffering The Radio’:

Check out the 2nd single 'The Light We Cannot See':

Online zine ‘One Metal’ describes Hellbound Hearts as, “the kind of music that should be played with high octane and fervent amounts of passion”, and with the emergence of their debut album ‘Film Noir’ the Yorkshire alternative rock trio have solidified the promise shown on previous eps in a fashion that simply shouldn’t be ignored if you’re a rock fan.

Produced by Matt Ellis at Axis Studios (Black Spiders, Terrorvision), ‘Film Noir’ is a commanding collection of songs that range from feel-good melodies to dark, sinister hooks, whilst all the time packing in stand out singalong choruses and heavy grooves.

Taking their cue from previous ep releases like ‘The Proximity Effect’, ‘Outside’, and stand-alone single 'Nancy's House', some might be surprised to learn that Hellbound Hearts debut album isn't what the band originally had lined up to release. "It wasn't working", explains lead vocalist and guitarist Danny Lambert, "we'd had some changes and time to reflect, and whilst the songs were good, we strongly wanted to be our own band and not be like a 1000 others flooding the market. So we canned the album, went back to the drawing board and re-grouped, re-composed and wrote a bunch of new songs, much more fitting with our sound."

If there was any doubt the band had taken a risk shelving the original album, those doubts are blown away by the opening blast of lead single 'Suffering The Radio', with the song setting the theme for the whole album; strong, driven, hook embedded songs to the very last note.

"The last great period of British music is a fading memory, replaced with an acceptance and almost macabre celebration of staggering mediocrity, formulaic unit shifters and false celebrity. But there are some who will not accept that all hope is lost. We are the vampires scrambling for the blood...." (Suffering The Radio)

'Film Noir' is truly a classy debut, and with Hellbound Hearts you'll discover a band that are more than the sum of their parts, they a live force to be reckoned with, and as shown countless times on the new album, they make astonishing heavy, catchy and standout music laced with wicked jagged riffs and pop-smart melodies.

Be prepared, it’s time to go dark.

'Film Noir' is released 7th April 2017.

Hailed by Metal Hammer magazine as "setting 2016 on fire” (alongside Textures, Dream Theater, Anthrax, and Devin Townsend) one of the finest extreme metal acts around will release their sophomore album this April.

Watch the new lyric videos:

'Make Disciples Of The Nations':

Titled ‘Peace In Our Time’, this new studio offering from Krysthla sees the British five-piece producing something extremely special. Part metal, part extreme, part technical, part progressive… Aurally this is a metal fan's nirvana. There’s an abundance of aggression on offer, and yet the power of the band is amplified even more with melodic tinges and lighter musical landscapes, which never detract from the powerhouse delivery Krysthla is renowned for.

Following the announcement of their debut album ‘A War Of Souls And Desires’ in July 2015, Krysthla broke into Amazon UK’s pre-release Top 10 album chart (alongside the likes of Iron Maiden and Disturbed), featured in-store nationwide at HMV as a “recommended buy” and lead music video ‘Luminosity’ was playlisted on Scuzz TV.

Krysthla’s debut album received extremely positive reviews from the music press, setting the band up for an exceptional 2016. From their extensive European tour with Decapitated to a prestigious slot on the Sophie Lancaster stage at Bloodstock Open Air, and main support to Textures at Mammothfest, Krysthla has crafted their music and live shows to such a high standard, that they can’t be ignored.

With ‘Peace In Our Time’, this is the sound of a band that has quickly found its place in the metal market, and given the chance, Krysthla will take the scene by storm.

'Peace In Our Time' is out 7th April via PHD.
