Simon Hall is probably best known for fronting the metal band Beholder, a project started back in 2003. Beholder has developed into something that is engrained into the mind set of many heavy metal music fans. With four releases, including the latest critically acclaimed 'Reflections' album , Beholder has been hailed as the "Bearers of Britain's traditional metal renaissance", with the new album praised by Metal Hammer "Excellently crafted and crushingly performed...this is without a doubt the most cohesive collection of songs that Beholder have put to their name to so far"and Kerrang! Magazine "Beholder meld the labyrinthine and the massive to imposing effect...it all hangs together with bloody minded, ass-kicking panache." Beholder is likened as a true British metal band that offers a full package INTENSITY, POWER AND HONESTY!
It's that sense of honesty that is appreciated with Simon's work in the music industry and is well earnt.
As former Tour Manager to band's such as Blackfoot, American Dog and more, Simon went on to book and promote bands in Midlands based venues, along with UK festivals such as the Rock and Blues Custom Show – working alongside bands such as Vader, Edguy, UFO, Scorpions and countless others.
Yet for the past 7 years Simon has become an integral part of the Bloodstock Open Air team. Dealing with bookings, production and helping out with the overall upward progression of the festival, he holds a great deal of passion towards the UK’s only true independent Metal Festival, whose grassroots popularity with music fans grows year in, year out.
Simon is also recognised for his passion with helping bands through the 'Metal 2 The Masses' initiative set up by Bloodstock Festival, where he works 24/7 to entice and nurture developing live and recording artists, not only to compete against the influx of entertainment offerings outside of music, but also be part of developing the bands of tomorrow.
“Coming on board with Stampede Press UK is a great opportunity for me to lend a helping hand to Rob's forward thinking approach. Between us and especially now as a team, I believe we have a lot to offer rock / metal musicians at any level, who are in need of a good, honest, no nonsense, solid service."
